Megan Tanner

Africa Inland Mission | Mobilization Coordinator
Connect

Hi! My name is Megan Tanner and I serve as Mobilization Coordinator for Africa Inland Mission (AIM) here in the U.S. I work with our mobilizing team as we spread the word about AIM and help people in the beginning stages of their application process. I love to hear how God is working in the lives of others and it is a privilege to walk alongside people as they move towards fulfilling God’s call to missions. Although I have been a believer since childhood, the Lord captured my heart for the nations while I was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ at Texas Tech University. God opened my eyes to His heart for all people and nations, and I was grateful to get to spend some time overseas being a part of the work happening to make His name known in all the world.

In 2015, I began my own journey with AIM and lived in Kenya from 2016-2020. I worked at Rift Valley Academy; first as a teacher and then as a dorm parent. My role was supporting and partnering with missionary families to love and care for their children while they work to spread the gospel across the continent of Africa. I returned back home to Texas in 2020 to go back to school myself and am currently working towards receiving my Masters of Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Now that God has called me home for this season, it is truly a joy to continue partnering with AIM in their ministry to see Christ-centered churches among all African peoples.
