Welcome back to the US! We pray your Home Assignment will be filled with special moments among family and friends, opportunities to share your heart, and time to reflect on your term. May God also give you times of rest and refreshment amidst the transitions in your life.
Our goal in the Peachtree City office is to assist you and serve as a resource during your time in the states. If you are in the area, we would love to have you stop by and reconnect with us in person. If you plan to attend the Waypoint Debrief Retreat, we look forward to seeing you there. We hope to help you be well-prepared for your return to the field when home assignment comes to a close.
You may be aware that there are certain requirements that need to be met prior to being cleared for your return to Africa. Please refer to the Required Actions Checklist to see what will need to be cared for before you return to Africa.

Required Actions : Checklist and Documents

Required before your return to the field:
- Medical Supplement Form—We need a medical update for every family member as part of your clearance requirement. If the supplemental physical shows a concern, we may request a full exam.
- Doctrinal Statement—please sign, also affirming that you have reviewed the most recent versions of the AIM Member Handbook and Constitution.
- Information Verification (attached to the welcome email you received from us)—please review and let us know if there are changes.
- Mail Authorization—sign for us to open mail that comes to this address in your name.
- Passport Copy—We keep a digital copy of your passport bio page for you in a secure file. Please send updated passport bio page for each family member if renewed since your last home assignment.
- Proof of Life—please fill out in your own handwriting, not typed.
- If you have children, your Educational Plan needs to be approved by John Myrick, TCK Education Consultant tckeducation.us@aimint.org
- Copy of your Return ticket/itinerary when you purchase your return flights.
When all of these things have been returned and your support target is met/pledged, we will clear you for your return.
